2 Games That Take Teamwork Very Differently: Apex Legends Vs. CoD: Warzone
Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends are both team-based battle royale games based on different systems and mechanics.

The battle route in Call of Duty: Warzone is apparently inspired by Apex Legends. Both use three-player teams and emphasize the use of communication, loot management, respawn allies, and teamwork. No two battle royale games are exactly the same.

If you and your friends love Apex Legends and are now eager to jump into Call of Duty: Warzone, you should know that you have to take these differences into account as you play. Overall, Apex Legends does more to prioritize teamwork in battle, while Warzone's mechanics and systems prioritize groupwork. But, of course, it's a bit more detailed, so let's examine these two games to show what we mean.

Contracts
Contracts allow you and your team to earn in-match cash that can be spent at specific locations to unlock Killstreaks and special legendary items. You can find cash on the ground or get it from other players you kill as well, but contracts offer the fastest way to earn enough in-match cash to quickly equip your team later (i.e., like finding a key to open a loot vault in Apex Legends).

Contracts provide complementary missions that aren't all about killing players for your entire team, and provide a way for teammates to contribute to their team's success without necessarily having to seek and destroy. The only exceptions are bounty contracts that are tasked with hunting and killing a nearby player. However, others are much more passive – one tasked with finding hidden caches in sometimes hard-to-reach areas, while the other asks you to hit a hard spot and hold that area.

Ping System
The ping system in Apex Legends is intended for use in combat. It's much easier to use the ping system in Apex Legends while moving, it allows you to ping, fire weapons, throw grenades, heal, use an ability as you approach battle. The ping system in Warzone, on the other hand, is paired with the d-pad, forcing you to take your thumb off the control stick to mark something, limiting its use when you're not moving too much. You can certainly use it during a fight, but stopping your movement in a Call of Duty game is a really easy way.

There's also details to Apex Legends' ping system - it lets you do general commands like spot items and attackers, yes, but you can also use it while in combat to request ammo or healing, or to let your teammates know you're attacking. to defend, or to look for a place. Warzone's ping system doesn't have any of these. Best used as a way to mark enemy locations before bullets start flying, you can alleviate the limited possibilities of Warzone's ping system on Xbox One and PS4 with microphones and mouse and keyboard on PC. :)
