2017 Golden Joystick Award Winners
The 2017 Golden Joystick Awards went to their winners.
Presented by HP in conjunction with OMEN, the 35th Golden Joystick Awards took place last night at the Bloomsbury Big Top in London .
The 2017 Golden Joystick Awards have been concluded. This year's biggest winner was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which stood out in four categories, including "Best Game of the Year" . However, PC games made us more happy. Tops are World Of Tanks, Friday the 13th, Overwatch and Playerunknown's Battlegroundsthere is. This year, the Lifetime Achievement Award went to legendary game maker Sid Meier, whose work includes Hellcat Ace, F-15 Strike Eagle, Silent Service, Decision in the Desert, and more that we probably haven't heard of.
Sid Meier said, "I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for our fans." He added, "Railroad Tycoon or Civilization, my fans from all over the world allowed me to have the best work. I want to thank all of them very much.”
