Gears Tactics is getting its first update. The game update will start in the evening of Tuesday, May 12 (today) and will focus on fixing bugs and improving the game experience. This update will fix various crashes and a nasty issue that prevented players from selecting units in certain parts of the game. According to the patch notes, the developers are working to introduce additional stability fixes in the next update.

Fixed an issue where units could not be selected, especially in Act 1 Chapter 6.
Fixed game rotation getting stuck when using the Vanguard Distraction ability on a Sniper Drone that fixes the Vanguard.
Fixed the Vanguard Breach ability by reapplying the AP / Healing buff more than once.

Fixed an issue that caused characters to appear with unlocked armor when editing armor in the Barracks.
Improved image quality when using Variable Rate Shading.
Fixed uncorrected parts of Mammoth in Action 1 Mission 4.
Fixed holes seen in the environment in the Act 1 convoy when using ultra-wide monitors.
