A revival of the PS2 series, God of War deftly remakes the classic hack 'n' slash action into a surprisingly thoughtful action-adventure set in a fantasy Viking-era Scandinavian setting. As mythological giants roam the realm, a group of Æsir gods hunt the Kratos of the same name for reasons unknown.

You already know that God of War has been hailed as a masterpiece, with top-notch acting and writing, top art direction, and satisfying combat. As with every game that moves from any console to PC, the question in mind is; has it?

Coming to the answer to the above question, we can safely say a resounding yes. As a game, there is little to say that hasn't already been said. God of War is simply a masterpiece. From its initial release in 2018 to the PS5 upgrade to this PC version, no matter how you play it, God of War is a landmark experience that publishers other than Sony simply can't seem to make it through. Incredible art meets ambitious storytelling and meticulous precision combat to create a whole that is greater than its already challenging parts. God of War is absolutely incredible.
