League of Legends: Wild Rift is getting a lot of attention from players from all over the world. In a short period of time, the Wild Rift player base has grown so fast that even Riot Games didn't see it coming. Recently, however, players have been encountering an error 'Login timed out, please try again'. This usually means that the Wild Rift app cannot connect to in-game servers. This problem can have many possible causes. We have listed the possible reasons that can cause this error. However, there has been no official statement from Riot Games on this issue yet.

VPN Blocking

Recently Riot Gameshas decided to block some players from accessing Wild Rift using a VPN. Players in regions where the game is not yet available use VPN and gain access to the game, which causes many bugs and problems. Therefore, to keep the gaming experience smooth, Riot has largely decided to block VPN traffic.

Not in the Wild Rift Beta Testing Region

League of Legends: Wild Riftis currently only available for open beta testing in certain regions. You may encounter this error if you are trying to access the game outside of regions where open beta testing is available.

Since League of Legends: Wild Riftis an online game, you must have access to a good internet connection. Make sure your device is connected to the internet. If the problem persists, turn off your mobile data or WiFi router, then reconnect to the internet and restart the game.
