Due to its complexity, you may find it difficult to pinpoint the exact reason behind the low FPS error in Valorant . Below we have put together some of the methods that will help you solve the problem.

How to Fix Low Client FPS Error in Valorant?

1) Make sure your PC's graphics drivers are up to date

Most FPS-related problems can be fixed by updating your system's display or video drivers. Visit the official manufacturer's website of your system's graphics card and look for the latest drivers for the specific model you are using.

If you are not sure which video card you are using in your computer, there is an easy way to find out. Open the Start menu's search bar, then the "Run" window. Type “dxdiag” here and hit enter.

The DirectX Diagnostic Tool page will open. Proceed from the next page button to find out which video card you are using.

2) Change in-game settings

If you have FPS problems, you should not keep Valorant's visual effects settings too high. Try changing your in-game settings for better performance. Adjust phics settings accordingly to avoid FPS drops and "Low Client FPS" error in Valorant. However, even those with high-end PCs can try this workaround. Set all graphics factors to "Low" or disable them.

Turn off all unnecessary visual enhancements in Valorant's video settings.

For high-end hardware, be sure to disable V-Sync; however, enabling this feature on low-end hardware can do wonders. You can try values for Anti-Aliasing. However, if you are using a weak PC system, try sticking to FXAA or "None".

3) Make sure your PC prioritizes Valorant while running

While the game is running in the background, open Task Manager and click the Details tab. Search for “VALORANT-Win64-Shipping.exe” and “VALORANT.exe” here. Right click on both, set priority to High.

4) Reinstall the game

If none of the above-mentioned methods work, we recommend a clean re- download and install of Valorant . Some internal problems or corrupted files cannot be fixed and must be completely reinstalled to return to normal.

Uninstall the game and Riot Vanguard from System settings > Apps & features and restart your computer, then go to Valorant's official website to reinstall from scratch.

Your computer may be full of conflicting programs that can affect your frame rate. Getting professional help to deal with the problem will also be an effective way to solve the problem. If it's none of the previously mentioned issues, there may be something different causing the performance issues. You can contact Riot's support team.
