League of Legends 12.4 patch notes are in testing phase on PBE. Riot Games is gearing up to unveil the new Zaun champion Renata Glasc, launch the long-awaited Arcane-themed Alazışık Ekko skin, and weaken multiple characters including the power-pick pocket rocket Zeri, meta champion Qiyana, and more.
Riot Games is bringing Renata Glasc , a Chemistry Baroness from Zaun, the second new champion of League of Legends Season 12, to the valley with patch 12.4. The new patch will also come with changes to many champions. These include Zeri, Qiyana nerfs such that in the same update, Qiyana gets a new look; Shockblade. Buffs will also be available for Aatrox, Lucian, and more. On top of that, Riot is targeting boosts in solo lanes.

According to the League of Legends 2022 patch notes calendar, the 12.4 update will arrive on the live servers on Tuesday, February 15th . Players can expect several hours of downtime when the patch launches. Matchmaking and competitive queues on all League of Legends servers will be disabled approximately three hours before the official release of the patch.

League of Legends Season 12's second new champion has finally been announced: Baroness of Chemistry Renata Glasc. A member of the aristocracy in the dirty city of Zaun, mysterious, persuasive, and what sounds a bit of a cruel streak, Renata Glasc turns out to be a champion of support. Riot has two big goals for LoL 12.4 patch: newly released champion Zeri and impacting the ball meta. While there are more than a dozen expected balance changes, these are the big ones.
Zeri will be tweaking almost every part of her kit to shift it from less traditional AP builds to a more critical-based marksman build. He'll be less mobile with a big nerf on his E. His W and ultimate will also be less effective.
As for the top lane strategy that fascinated with Smite, Riot is doubling down on that with major changes to Target Rewards and support items. Target Rewards will now be halved if teams have more than one boost item, and the penalty for farming with an early boost item will be increased.
Other meta picks like Qiyana will see some changes, while under-selected champions like Kalista will be buffed.
The most notable skin coming in Patch 12.4 is the return of the long-awaited Arcane skin “Alazigik Ekko,” which was sent back to the developers for tweaks in late 2021 at the height of the series' popularity.
Alongside Ekko's new look, Kassadin, Shen, and Qiyana will also get shocking new versions of their "Shockblade" skins to match Zed's iconic variants. Each of the costumes will feature eight different color styles, and Renata will also feature several color designs.
