League of Legends fighter champion Lee Sin and Agile Scout Teemo will receive a Visual and Sustainability Update (GSG).
The developers shared many details about their concept design, technical art and animation work. The team emphasizes that the GSGs are aimed at high quality and satisfying players and are looking forward to trying out new characters.
Concept artist Megan “Ze Ocelot” O'Rourke mentioned that the most important thing they paid attention to while working on GSGs was “body size” because it not only creates the design and identity of the character, but also makes it much easier to design costumes.

Lee Sin
It is important for developers to have consistent body measurements of Lee Sin , who has a muscular and well-built but also slim and tight body . By making a detailed study on the hair braid, which is its characteristic feature, both the general design is improved and it gains a new look in terms of animation and design.
Contrary to all this change, the Riot team said that they will keep the general skin appearance of the champions in GSGs. They aim to achieve a modernized look by not straying too far from its original state.
For example, the belt around the waist is both more layered and curved, and its clothes and accessories feature organic-looking stitching and embellishments.
Rig Design
Rigging is a process that involves creating a skeleton or skeleton-like structure to control the movement of characters or objects during the animation or game development process. “We've had to resort to a lot of creative ways over the years to get Lee's neck moving properly. We even added an extra animation to fit his neck in content after the Quarterback Lee Sin costume. Teemo
Teemo's squat body, however characteristic, is being modified. Concept artist Megan "Ze Ocelot" O'Rourke said they're going to increase the champion's height a bit to give him more mobility.
With the new rig for Teemo, you can now see the facial expression of the agile scout. The developers have added a set of emoticons that reflect a variety of emotions, such as happy, confused, sad. In its updated version, you will be able to see Teemo coming to life in-game. In addition, extensive updates were made to the animation kit to bring it to LoL standards.
The developers' plan is to release Lee Sin in the first half of 2024 and Teemo in the second half. However, be aware that these dates are likely to change due to unexpected circumstances and the large costume catalog.
