New Version of Valorant Split Map | 2023 Rework

Split , along with Bind and Haven,is one of the first maps available in the Valorant beta. Split, which is part of Alpha Earth like many other maps, has its country location in Tokyo, Japan.

While Riot Games didn't provide a concrete reason why they removed Split based on player feedback, it was pretty clear that Split was not the map of choice. On the other hand, Pearl was introduced in the map pool, so one map had to come out of rotation. That's why Riot decided to temporarily remove Split and make some tweaks to it before returning.

Valorant Chapter 6: All Split Changes

Split was removed from gameplay in the Valorant 5.0 patch notes and replaced by Pearl. Nowit's back in the map pool in Chapter 6, new and updated. Unlike the previous version, Split rework has been overhauled to improve the gameplay experience for both Attackers and Defenders.

A Main

Expanded the initial interaction area for attackers and added a small ledge for confusion.

A / Main Box

Reduced the support box next to the orb to give attackers a new location facing area A.

A Beams

The sub-parent field has been removed, making this much easier to deal with as an Attacker.

A Tower

The rear of the tower has been flattened to make the fight to the Ramps easier for both teams.

Middle Bottom

Players can now fall silently onto the Middle platform. The gimmick jump to the middle box has also been removed for simplicity.

B Tower

Removed the defensive side jump box to simplify the field.

B Site

The hard corner here has been changed to make it easier to see the target.

New Split Map Release Date

Valorant Split rework will be released on January 10, 2023,with a Chapter 6: Enlightenment release date. The renewed Split map has been eagerly awaited for a long time, don't miss it.
