No More Prime Gaming Drops on Riot Games IPs

Riot Games announced that it is ending its promotional partnership with Prime Gaming.


Amazon Prime Gaming is a service where players can receive in-game content in many cooperative games. With Prime Gaming, players can earn free rewardsin Riot Games' games such as League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics and VALORANT. a> could win. So much so that Amazon is one of Riot Games' stable partners when it comes to esports. Nowadays it is quite common to see Amazon prizes at Worlds or VCT.

LoL players could get premium currency, free RP or a free champion skin for Wild Rift simply by purchasing premium rewards. However, sad news is that Riot Games announced that they will no longer continue their collaboration with Amazon's Prime Gaming

Prime Gamingx Riot Games Partnership Ended

Riot Games recently confirmed via its Twitter account that it will not renew its partnership with Amazon Prime Gaming. This has many implications, but the most important one is that players won't be able to get Prime Gaming Loot for their favorite Riot IPs for much longer.

An update for players claiming Prime Gaming loot:

Prime Gaming has decided not to renew our promotion, which means the last capsule drops will end in March 2024 across all of our games. We know this is disappointing, and wanted to let you know as soon as we could.

Riot stated that players can continue to receive Prime Gaming Loot until March 2024. These capsules will then be phased out in the foreseeable future. Riot has yet to announce whether there will be any alternatives for these monthly rewards, but they have a few months to figure things out moving forward.
