PUBG Adds Death Race Mode to Miramar Map

PUBG Corporation has announced a new Death Race-style racing mode exclusive to Miramar on the PUBG LABS multiplayer server.

PUBG Corporation this week is introducing a new type of experience , Death Race Mode, to players via the game's PUBG Labs server . Death Race , which will only be active on the Miramar map , can be played with 20 players in total for PC and 16 players in total for console. The time given to both compete and equalize your opponents is 10 minutes. Many ammo and ammunition you need will be presented to you on the racetrack during the match.

PUBG Death Race Mode Details

1) Race Preparation

• Choose your car at the start of the race.
  - Available Vehicles: Motorcycle, Off-road Bike, Buggy, Coupe RB, Mirado.
• Each vehicle is equipped with a range of different weapons.
• Use the F8 key (Console: D-Pad down) to change the tool selection UI and switch tools.
  - After respawn, the vehicle you selected will appear.

2) The Race Has Started

• Players spawn in their vehicles when the race countdown begins.
• You cannot move or attack other players until the race has started.
• Destroy everything in your path when the match starts!
  - Players have protection to prevent them from being killed within 10 seconds of the match starting and within 5 seconds of respawning.

3) Race Tracks

• Race Mode takes place on one of the two tracks featured in the visuals.
• Both runways are 1-way runways from the start line to the finish line.

4) Checkpoint

• Checkpoints serve as respawn points and you must pass through them to advance in the race.
• Going off track for too long will trigger an out-of-bounds timer, and when the countdown reaches zero, you'll respawn near the last checkpoint you passed.

5) Energy Point

• Go over the red chests to collect energy.
  - Chests respawn shortly after being collected.
• Energies can be used with the Shift key.
  - Using energy brings you to FULL SPEED.
  - When killed, you respawn with your energy gauge set to max.
• You cannot use energy on Motorcycles and Off-road motorcycles.

6) Ammo Chests

• Go through the blue chests to collect ammo.
  - Chests provide a small amount of ammo for your equipped weapon.
  - Ammo chests reappear shortly after being collected.

7) Race Completion

• The first player to cross the finish line takes the checkered flag and wins the race for his team!
• The match ends 60 seconds after the first player to win crosses the finish line.

Race Mode will take place over two weeks in two different modes, first Team and then Solo.

Week 1: June 3 – 7 (Squad)

Week 2: 7 – 14 June (Solo)

For console;

Week 1: 10 – 14 June (Squad)

Week 2: 14 – 21 June (Solo)
