Ubisoft has confirmed the rumors that Rainbow Six Siege will have radical changes for the 4th year, season 4. Like previous seasons, Shifting Tides adds new operators to the game. Team Rainbow brings two new Operators for Shifting Tides; There will be an offensive and a defensive operator. The new offensive operator will be named Kali, while the new defensive operator will be named Wamai. While Kali is the very wealthy head of a successful private military unit, Wamai is a former Kenya Navy Special Forces member currently working for Kali.
Kali is the first operator to carry a bolt-action sniper rifle as his primary weapon. Allows you to kill teammates or enemies hiding behind walls by firing projectiles with enough firepower to penetrate both destructible walls and operators. Kali wields the LV Explosive Lance, a projectile that shatters walls, even supporting reinforced ones, and is devastating when all tools within its barrel radius reach the other side.
Wamai has nothing special about firearms, but makes up for it with one of the coolest gadgets Rainbow Six Siege has ever seen. The Mag-Net System allows Wamai to attach powerful magnets to almost any surface. These magnets activate when they detect projectiles at a certain speed (faster than a walking but slower than a bullet, like a thrown grenade) and attract them before they explode. If placed carefully, Wamai can use the Mag-Net System to cause Attackers to bomb a hostage, detonating themselves. Some Operators, such as Ash or Capitão, may accidentally use their own tools against teammates. Rainbow Six Siege is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Rainbow Six Quarantine is scheduled for release in 2020.
