Riot Games has officially announced all 30 Valorant teams that will be partnering with the company for the next five annual VCT event.

Riot Games has officially announced all 30 Valorant teams that will partner with the company for the next five annual VCT event . These teams will work closely with the company from 2023 to 2028 to create the best possible esports experience for Valorant's global audiences.

An entirely new format will replace the current VCT format and will see 10 teams from each of these regions (Pacific (APAC), Americas and EMEA) compete in a league format.

List of 30 Teams Announced for VCT 2023 International Leagues

In each of the three regions - Americas, EMEA and the Pacific - the VCT International Leagues will consist of 10 teams each. The list of franchised teams includes a few fan favorites, along with some familiar faces and some newcomers.

In addition to these three international leagues, Riot Games has also confirmed the arrival of tier 2 league structures called Challenger Leagues . These leagues will spread to all regions . A total of 21 Challenger Leagues will provide regional competition from all over the world to increase their success by fighting for a place in the Challengers Ascension tournament.

New teams will be promoted to international leagues each year based on their performance in the various Challengers Leagues and Challenger Ascension tournaments. A new in-game competitive system will also arrive before the VCT 2023 season begins. This will allow players to seamlessly connect the game to the esports ecosystem and get the chance to become a professional Valorant player.

Each of the 30 teams that partner with Riot Games will be given an annual salary, which is said to be a six-figure amount by the company. With Riot's financial assistance and eliminating the risk of relegation, each of the partner teams will have the opportunity to fight for the title of Valorant World Champion .

When will the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 begin?

Riot Games has started reaching out to "several first-tier organizations" to apply for partnerships in the VCT 2023 season . Currently, Riot has talked about the official application process that requires teams to submit financial reports and demonstrate their commitment to Valorant. However, an exact date when VCT 2023 will begin could not be published.
