Valorant Agent and Economy Changes
Riot Games has changed the price of almost every agent and weapon in Valorant for the upcoming Chapter 3 update. The changes mostly increased the amount of credits, which is the cost of purchasing abilities.
Riot Games ' tactical shooter Valorant is just a few days away from the highly anticipated 3rd installment , and the community can't wait to learn more about what to expect in the next update. Released June 22 – 23 , the Episode 3 patch is set to add a lot of new content to Valorant, including the new agent KAY/O . These changes include several important economic and intermediary changes that will potentially refresh the competitive experience for the player base.
Valorant Episode 3 Agent Updates
Several players who tested the upcoming Chapter 3 update before its global release shared the news that some agents will have cost changes to some of their abilities. While the full details of the patch notes have not yet been released by Riot, here are some key changes players can expect to see in the Valorant Chapter 3 Part 1 update:

- X – Astral Form cost reduced from 200 to 150 Credits
- Starting star: 2 → 1
Breach
- C – Aftershock cost increased from 100 to 200 Credits
- Q – Dazzling cost increased from 200 to 250 Credits
- Q - Dazzling now has 2 charges instead of 3
Brimstone
- Q – Burner cost increased from 200 to 250 Credits.
Jett
- C – Smoke Cloud cost increased from 100 to 200 Credits
- Q – Lighten cost increased from 100 to 150 Credits
- X - Sharp Storm requires 7 Ultimate points instead of 6
omen
- C – Hidden Step cost increased from 100 to 150 Credits
- Q – Paranoia cost reduced from 400 to 300 Credits
- E - Shroud of Darkness now 100 Credits

Of course, not every player is happy to see these changes, but none of the changes made in Valorant are permanent. So if any nerf or buff negatively affects the game, the developers will definitely listen to the community and make the necessary updates.
