The Valorant Champions Tour is coming to be an esports tournament that will span generations . The year-long tournament will gather the best Valorant players in the world. The details of the tournament, which was first announced in November 2020, were announced in a live month on Twitch in January 2021. Riot Games offers a brand new competitive platform to teams that want to compete in the regional challenge. Stage 1 starts on February 4th for all players who want to make their name known and show off their skills.
Teams from around the world will fight in three stages: Challengers, Masters and Champions. To reward the best Valorant team, the winner of the three stages culminating in the Valorant Champions Tour will determine the winner.
There will be three group Challenger events, each with three weekends. The open qualifiers will determine eight teams to compete each weekend. The top four teams from the first weekend will pass the open qualifiers for the second weekend. The first quartet of the second weekend will advance to the Challenger Final, while the last quartet will pass the third weekend qualifiers. Finally, the top four of the third weekend will also advance to the Challenger Final. The Challenger Final determines which teams will represent their regions in only one of the three Master events.
