A new 5v5 game mode, originally called " Escalation ", will be released in Valorant with patch 2.03 . Valorant consists of four main game modes, each adding a different feature to the FPS style. The game launched with competitive, ranked and spike rush modes. Deathmatch was included in the game shortly after its release. Fans have been hoping for a possible new game mode to be added in the upcoming Chapter 2 Action 2, and it looks like their wish will come true. Valorant New Escalation Mode Details
Escalation is a brand new game mode that will be added in patch 2.03 . It's a 5v5 game mode set up to face off teams with different abilities and gear for each level. When the enemy is defeated, the teams will move on to the next level. The first team to win 12 rounds will win the match.
General Information
- Valorant Escalation is a 5v5 game mode.
- There will be 12 Escalation levels (each level has a specific weapon or ability) in Valorant.
- The win will be for the team that finished 12 levels in Valorant or reached the highest level within 10 minutes.
- To advance to the next level in Valorant, the team as a whole must earn seven points at each level.
- Killing at the current level grants one point in Valorant.
- Killing at the previous level grants 0.5 points in Valorant.
- Each player has a separate weapon level that they work to complete in Valorant.
- Players must achieve at least one kill using each weapon to unlock the next weapon level.
- The team will still be able to progress through their skill level, even if the player is at an older weapon level.
- Matches will generally last 7-9 minutes.
- Operator abilities based on the character's selection cannot be used. On the contrary, only basic abilities can be used by all players during the match.
- Fast reboot (immune to damage in first five seconds).
Players will earn 800 points for completing a match and an additional 200 experience points for a win. Escalation mode is sure to add a new color to the game, it looks like it will be fun to play and watch.
