Riot will present the military-themed Special Operations Skin Set to players today . With these weapon skins, players will be able to “equip a full weapon and go to the battlefield”. Alongside this weapon set are the Phantom rifle, Ghost, Specter SMG and Guardian semi-automatic weapons, as well as the long-awaited Balisong Butterfly Knife . “Since the early stages of Valorant, we've been experimenting with add-ons that you can see in military simulations,” said Sean Marino, director of the art team. The Recon Skin set was our next step towards capturing a modern shooter game in a more traditional sense. “We wanted a weapon to represent something that players could experience on a more modern battlefield,” he said.

Since the Special Operations (Recon) Skin set in Valorant is Premium, the whole set will be 7,100 VP . If players want to buy weapon skins individually, they can get them for 1,775 VP. Balisong Butterfly Knife will cost 3,350 VP . Players will also need to use Radianite Points to gain the weapons' attributes. Among these features, there are camouflages of weapons in different colors (red, blue, green). These three colors are also available in Butterfly Knife. Also, the blade has its own unique animations.
Other weapons have laser attachments in the Recon skin set . Butterfly Knife has its own unique flip animation.

Valorant players will be able to access the animation and sound of the Butterfly Knife in two stages. While you can unlock 3 different skins at Level 1, the sound and blade flip animation will be available at Level 2. To skip these levels, players need to collect 10 Radianite Points.
The Valorant Special Operations Skin Set will be available to players tonight at 11 PM.
