Valorant has had a high level of success since the release of its closed beta, but after the game was officially released, many professional players had mixed opinions about the tactical shooter game.
Still, Valorant tournaments have been hugely successful in Europe and elsewhere, with some of the best teams competing against each other. Sage is one of the Agents whose overwhelming abilities are the subject of complaints from many players. Some abuses of Shotgun weapons like Shorty , Judge and Bucky with the fast-paced abilities of Agents like ' Jett ' were also criticized.

Riot Games immediately noticed these constant mold complaints from the Valorant community and has now addressed these issues with the latest patch v1.07.
1) All shotguns will have a lower hit rate when used to headshot an enemy.
2) After exceeding 10 meters, the bullet damage of all shotguns will have a brand new damage value from the standard bullet damage in the game. New damage value to be slowed by 30% over 0.5 seconds.
3) The Shorty was the cheapest two-barreled shotgun in Valorant , and its headshot rate has been reduced from 3x to 2x, the same as Judge and Bucky .
4) Judge also had a $100 increase in the in-game total price, which will prompt the player to choose between buying armor or Judge in half-buy rounds. These changes will prevent players from using the shotgun at long range.
Vandal has been the go-to weapon in competitive tournaments for big pro players like ScreaM due to its one-shot capability . However, many other pro players consider the Phantom to be a better weapon than the Vandal due to its rate of fire and low recoil. This has caused many amateur players with the wrong aim to prefer the Phantom over Vandal in the game. The developers have now given Vandal some buffs and increased the weapon's total damage from 39 to 40 and fire rate from 9.75 to 9.25 to compensate for the recoil reset time in Valorant.

Most of these weapon changes are solid and are likely to completely change Valorant's competitive meta.
