Reliable leak source ValoraLeaks shared a screenshot with imaginary background. It is even thought that the largest image may be about a butterfly depicting a caterpillar emerging from a cocoon.

The first potential clue involves a player card in the Episode 8 Part 1 battle pass, scheduled for release on January 9, 2024.
Firstly, the player card looks quite nice with its muted colors of purple, yellow, blue and pink. But not only the colors, but if you see a dome-shaped structure, it is probably a cocoon and it gives the impression that this cocoon shape has broken open to reveal the wings of a butterfly. The player card also bears many small butterfly prints on it. If we were to guess from this supposed teaser, this agent's set could use butterflies to gain an advantage in Valorant games.

There isn't much information about the new agent yet, but leaks talk about a possible codename: Smokedancer. Since there hasn't been a Controller in a long time, players are speculating that the 24th Agent will be a Controller. This means Viper and Omen will have abilities like using smoke that change the way opponents interact with the map, perhaps teleporting through the smoke or using the smoke to their advantage.
Release date
According to leaks, it is said that Valorant's new agent will appear in Chapter 8 Part 2. If the usual pattern continues, this will most likely happen in March. Episode 8 Part 1 will begin on January 9, 2024 and will likely last for two months.
