Valorant episode 6 will be a big update. Recently, Riot has deviated from a certain pattern when it comes to delivering new content. So be prepared to be surprised. The next episode should technically introduce a new Valorant map , but Riot has already tightened up map rotation by unplugging Split. This major change happened at the beginning of episode 5, suggesting that Riot could change the rotations at the beginning of each episode.
If Riot decides to release a new map, it could also mark the arrival of the new Valorant agent 21 . Harbor's recent addition as a control specialist indicates that the next agent could be the lead. Because right now there are 6 duelists, 5 controllers, 5 scouts and 4 lead agents in the game. Riot will want to balance it.
Besides that, players can also expect a promised rework/rework of abilities of the spy Cypher, who has been on the sidelines for too long. All this and more will arrive in January with a new battle pass, skin pack, and more.
Valorant episode 5 started on June 22. Episode 6 part 1 could begin around January 11, 2023, as each Valorant episode lasts around six months . You still have two months to get the highest rank badge, level up and unlock new badges before the chapter ends.
However, Riot has not officially announced the release date yet. A few hours before the update arrives, the servers will be shut down for maintenance and during this time you will not be able to enter the game or play matches. The update will also bring the new battle pass with weapon skins, player cards, weapon charms and rewards that you can purchase for 1000 VP .
