Call of Duty: WWII 's first community event is about to kick off with some new content. Call of Duty: WWII Winter Siege will be playable on PC , PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting December 8th . You can see the new event and everything that comes with it in the trailer below:
Call of Duty: WWII Winter Siege features a winter version, a new winter-themed version of the snow-covered, Carentan multiplayer map, this is something that Season Pass holders could only dream of before in Carentan. Headquarters is also getting a seasonal refresh, along with a guesthouse attendant with Supply Drops filled with a new chiller.
In the second week of Winter Siege , the event marks the limited return of Gun Game as part of an uninterrupted program of exclusive Double XP playlists . Classic mode lets players compete for the first time to win a kill with every weapon in the game.
It also brings a new look for the headquarters. The beach camp, which blends into a dark appearance in the event scene, will take on a winter look. Captain Butcher visits Headquarters, which carries an assortment of Winter Siege frontier uniforms, cosmetics, and weapons.
Players can earn a variant of each new weapon for free through Special Orders from Major Howard . Other variants of these weapons are available through Supply Drop . Winter Siege Supply Drops can be earned for free by playing Call of Duty: WWII during the event .
There are also a number of bug fixes coming today. Winter Siege events are free. Open to all players from 8 December to 2 January 2018.
