The NSG First Strike closed qualifiers have been completed and are on their way to the EU exit qualifiers, while the competition thus far has provided many points of discussion above the Valorant community.
However, the hottest topic currently being discussed on social media is how Riot Games has managed First Strike Valoran t tournaments so far .
It seems that a large part of the game's fan base is not entirely satisfied with how the developers are managing the playoffs in the qualifiers.
In a discussion, we reviewed some of the issues the North American NSG closed qualifiers face when it comes to player selection.
Many Valorant fans felt that the broadcast team was a little too biased in certain games, making it extremely difficult to follow. In a recent Reddit post,
Arjun Banerji , an actor on Valorant named CarGoesBeepBeep , focuses on the problems he faced as a spectator in both the NA and EU First Strike qualifiers. "I can't help but feel like Valorant started from scratch and makes a lot of completely avoidable mistakes," Banerji wrote. Comparing Valorant's esports scene to Riot's other game, League of Legends , he thinks what's wrong with tournaments is First Strike at the best of an elimination .
In a Reddit post, Banerji said,
“I feel like Valorant started from scratch and it makes a lot of completely avoidable mistakes. Beginning with the Ignition series, many tournaments have had such ridiculous formats. I mainly follow NA and EU and while most NA tournaments have good formats, when we come to EU - invite only tournaments, BO1s for most of the stage, Swiss braces. All of these have been tried in other games and found not to be optimal. "
used the phrases.
With the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the NSG closed qualifiers being held on the same day, the best of the single stage made even professional players unhappy with the situation of the competition.
im not trying to make excuses for anybody but i will say after playing a bo3 and jumping directly into another bo3 after a team gets to watch your match before playing you is a huge disadvantage

Players like Sentinels' Dapr and 100Thieves ' Asuna took to Twitter to talk about how mentally exhausting the First Strike format is.

The problems with the NA qualifiers seem to be reflected in the problems of the EU tournament as well.
The absence of the double elimination format created a stir in the Valorant community, especially after they had to lose their match against Guild Esports G2 . Guild Esports used the Killjoy turret and Sage wall exploit, which is an illegal move according to Riot officials .
