Everything in Night City runs on money in Cyberpunk 2077 , and your journey to becoming a living legend will be costly. To make as many Eurodollars (also known as "eddies") as possible, you'll want to take on all the mercenary jobs you can. But most of the time, work isn't enough and you'll need more money if you want to advance the story of Cyberpunk 2077, along with buying the best cyber software, weapons and clothing . There was a lot of opportunity to spend time in Night City and many ways to make quick money were found. Check out these tips on making money, you'll need them especially early in the game. Earning money will help you advance the story at some key moments.
Loot Everything
First, the standard open world: Loot everything from filing cabinets to corpses. Most of the things you'll no doubt find are labeled "Useless". Junk parts can be broken down into labor components or sold to vendors. However, you will want to balance your scrap collection business with your overall responsibility and the value of the trash in question. When you look at a piece of scrap on the floor, a window will open showing you the weight and value. Typically, it's best to ignore things under 10 eddies because they're probably not worth the hassle but one V's trash is another V's treasure, the decision is yours. Also, watch out for scrap jewels, which are actually very valuable, as you loot enemies and boxes. You will find some brooches, necklaces and bracelets that you can sell for 750 eddies.
Selling Clothing and Weapons
The weapons and clothing you'll find on every enemy you fight are way better than most scraps. If any enemy drops a rare weapon that you don't use, sell it. We can sell valuable assault rifles in the cold, dead hands of enemies to a nearby gun shop. Some of the weapons we found are worth more than 1000 eddies. The best way to earn money, especially in the early stages of the game, is to sell all the weapons you get from the enemies you have to fight. Be careful not to overload the V so it cannot move.
Do Lots of Hacking
The next thing to consider when exploring are hackable computers. If you're a savvy Netrunner, you can hack access points and terminals with your personal connection and transfer funds directly to your account. The more skilled your hacker is, the more money you make from each transfer. There are also some passive benefits tied to this action in the Intelligence tree, making hacking easier and earning you more money.
Take Small Tasks
You'll be recruited for small quests as you explore the Night City and get to know the various Fixers in each area. Most of these jobs are pretty simple, asking you to kill a few gang members, steal a laptop, or neutralize or kill a wanted criminal. These jobs usually only take a few minutes and save you some money for your problems. It is worth noting that money is not a guaranteed reward for every task. Sometimes it's a rare, iconic weapon, and sometimes it's just some help you need. If you're getting paid for your work, the assignor will usually let you know in advance.
Use In-Quest Side Quests
A great side quest to fill your pockets is called Epistrophy. At the beginning of Act 2, after completing some main story quests, investigate the side quest called Human Nature. The AI taxi service will work with Delamain, and you will eventually be asked to find specific lost cars all over the city. You earn money as you complete each step of this multi-stage mission, and you'll often find taxis alongside other story missions you're working on, making them very useful and lucrative.
