Music of the Spheres was conceived as a musical accompaniment to the original Destiny , co-created by Marty O'Donnell , Michael Salvatori , and Paul McCartney . But due to a legal dispute between Bungie and O'Donnell, who has been a composer at Bungie since 1999, it was never disclosed. And it's still not disclosed, but someone unknown made it leak.
The album can be listened offline on Soundcloud .
The links may not hold up for long, as it's a completely unconfirmed release, but Joseph Staten served as writer and creative director on multiple Halo games before joining Microsoft Game Studios in 2014.
One of my fondest #Destiny memories was writing a thematic summary of the game for @MartyTheElder that he gave to @PaulMcCartney . Not every day something you write (“Hope shines brightest in the dark”) ends up being sung by a Beatle. Glad #MOTS is finally out for all to hear.

O'Donnell told Kotaku she was "relaxed and happy" when the music could finally be heard.
“My wife and I spent an afternoon with my 93-year-old dad and we showed that people can finally hear about it, our Christmas just got better. My mom, who was my dad's wife for over 60 years, passed away two years ago. Why would she never have been, even though she loved it and shared it with a few of her friends? Didn't realize it wasn't published." said.
"I really don't know who did it, but thank you. To be honest, I don't know who wouldn't want that anymore.”
Years ago, when I was Audio Director at Bungie, I gave away nearly 100 copies of Music of the Spheres.

I don't have the authority to give you permission to share MotS.
However, no one in the world can prevent me from giving you my blessing. #NeverForgetMotS
In fact, O'Donnell made it clear in November that the music is already somewhere.
