Publisher and developer Techland recently announced the Dying Light 2 release date , answering the question of when the game will open in different parts of the world . It also confirmed that players will be able to pre-load the game before its launch in early February . Dying Light 2 will benefit from a simultaneous PC launch across the globe and will be kept simple until launch times. US players will be able to enter and explore Villedor from the afternoon of February 3rd.

The developer states that console versions of the game will open at midnight local time in each region. As for the pre-installation of Dying Light 2, anyone planning to get the game on Xbox can start downloading their files. PC and PlayStation users will be able to start pre- loading the action-adventure game 48 hours before it launches in their region . However, in order to do so, you must pre-order a digital copy of the game.

As for how much memory you need to allocate, the PS5 version should have the smallest space with a file size of 32.5GB, the Xbox Series X version should have quite a large space with 72GB, and a minimum of 60GB free space for the PC requirement . Techland has previously detailed how it plans to approach post- launch support for Dying Light 2 , with the game's roadmap promising more than 5 years of content. The game is also said to keep companions busy for a very long time.
Dying Light 2 will be released on February 4, 2022 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5 and PS4 platforms . The Nintendo Switch version will be released later in 2022. You can log in to the game from Turkey servers on February 4th at 12:00 GMT .
