Ahead of the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2022 Season , Edward Gaming (EDG) has announced the Worlds 2021 skin selections. Despite being the #1 team of the LPL, EDGwere weak at the 2021 World Championship . In this iconic race to win it all, each champion played by Riot Games rules. Teams were allowed to choose their desired champion for their Worlds appearance.

The EDG Worlds 2021 skins are as follows:
Flanders – Graves
Jiejie – Viego
Scout - Zoe
Viper – Aphelios
Meiko - Lulu
Flanders – Graves
Flandre chose Graves because he clearly knew how strong he was at the event. Graves Ball was almost unbeatable with its incredible damage and survivability. Flanders chose Graves 11 times in the competition and became the champion he played the most. In terms of a skin that spans the worlds meta, Graves is an excellent choice.
Jiejie – Viego
Jiejie chose the Ruined King for the Worlds 2021 skin, despite only playing Viego once during the event. This is because he played Viego a lot during the LPL and every game he played with Viego was very important to him.
Scout - Zoe
Scout opted for champion Zoe for very similar reasons to Jiejie. Despite not playing with Zoe until the Worlds 2021 finals, she dominated the former World Champions in the finals. Not only did he dominate them with Zoe, he did it during the 4th and 5th seasons. Another great pick showing how EDG won the World Championship.
Viper – Aphelios
Aphelios was Viper's pick, which he played multiple times all year but only 3 times at Worlds 2021. It was also the 5th game played against Damwon Kia in the final. Notice a trend here? Aphelios is a great choice, not only for the lack of skins, but also because he is a champion that Viper has found historically and recently very successful.
Meiko - Lulu
Finally, there is Meiko, who goes with Lulu. Ever since she won the World Championship, Meiko said she would choose between Lulu or Yuumi, and we finally found the answer, which makes a lot of sense. Meiko chose Lulu at Worlds 4 times; most notably was his selection in Game 4 of the Worlds finals. This will be Lulu's first Worlds skin, making it an all-time favorite champion for Meiko.
