Following news that EA and football's main governing body have ended their relationship after nearly 30 years, FIFA 23 will be the last game to feature the FIFA branding before the seriesis renamed EA Sports FC . This year, the popular soccer game will introduce many new ways for players to take the field. This includes the addition of Women's Club Football for the first time in EA Sports FIFA history.

Before EA Sports moves into the new age of soccer games, FIFA 23 wants to come out with a bang. This year, it's gearing up to offer players more than ever the most official licenses from real sports, including some of the world's best players , in both Career Mode and Ultimate Team .
FIFA 23 is gearing up to bring together many new leagues, with women's football taking the stage more than ever. Domestic leagues are set to be playable for the first time. International sides were first introduced in FIFA 16, but representation of women's play hasn't really taken off in games since then.
Thankfully, it looks like EA is trying to fix this in FIFA 23 as well as adding leagues other than the men's match.

While FIFA 23 adds exciting new leagues , it's worth noting that both the Japanese J-League and Mexican Liga BBVA MX will be leaving the roster this time around.
While EA hasn't made any official announcements about the new teams that will be featured in FIFA 23 , leakers have started announcing them ahead of time. FIFA insider Donk Trading has announced that Juventus' exclusive deal with Konami to appear in eFootball has ended, meaning the Serie A side will be in FIFA 23 with the proper name, kit and stadium.
On top of that, following the news that 2022 World Cup content is on the way, we can assume that all international teams that qualify for the tournament will take part . This means that the previously missing African country will be added.

While it's nice to have official kits and badges, it's the recreated stadiums that lift the load the hardest to make FIFA feel immersive . Whether it's your home ground in FUT or an away day in Career, stepping onto an iconic field is tough.
Each year, EA adds more famous stadiums for fans to play in, including the homes of newly promoted teams in fully licensed leagues like the English Premier League.
FIFA 23 will also see some stadiums return from the series several years after they were hijacked by eFootball through exclusive partnerships.
As confirmed in the teaser trailer, FIFA 23 will be released on Friday, September 30 . Some will have access to the game earlier than that, via a possible Beta or Demo , then Early Access and Web App.
Early access to pre-orders for those who purchased the Ultimate Edition of the game begins on Tuesday, September 27. The 10-hour EA Play trial also gives players a limited number of gameplay hours, and the pre-order will start at the same time as the early access.
