The League of Legends World Championship is an integral part of the League of Legends universe. A Worlds tournament has been held every year since 2011. This is one of the most exciting moments in the League as players witness the best teams from around the world compete against each other.
LoL Worlds 2022 Preliminary Stage will begin on September 29. As in previous years, League players can "drag and drop" their predictions once the "Who Takes" page is opened for each stage. For the first time in LoL Worlds Who Receives it, players can now predict playoff matches.
For Who Takes 2022 , Riot has enhanced the previously introduced Coin and Crystal Ball features. In addition, players will be awarded points for each correct choice. The more points players have, the more rewards they get.

The Worlds 2022 Who Takes event is split into the Crystal Ball, Preliminary Stage, Group Stage, and Elimination Stage.
Crystal Ball
The Crystal Globe is back for the 2022 World Championship . The Crystal Ball lets you predict the winner of the Finals before Worlds begins. If you guessed correctly, you will be awarded extra points at the end of the Worlds tournament.
This year's Crystal Ball will challenge you even more than in previous years. There will be 20 different prediction questions, specifically asking you to predict the upcoming Worlds 2022 meta. The Crystal Globe predictions will begin September 29 at 11:15 PM with the Preliminary Qualifiers.
Preliminary Stage
The Preliminary Stage will be played in the Bo5 format. Players must choose fast with the busy time between all Playoff stage matches. Therefore, after the games are over on October 2, players must make predictions for two series of five games to be played on October 3.
Similarly, after the match ends on October 3, players can make predictions for the last two Qualifier Bo5s to be played on October 4.
Group Stage
For the Group Stage, it is up to the players to correctly predict the order in which the teams will finish in each group. Worlds 2022 Group Stage predictions will be available for selection after the Qualifier ends on October 4th, until the start of Group Stage matches on October 8th at 00:15 pm.
Elimination Phase
Once the Group Stage is over, you will be able to select the winners for the matches at each step during the Qualification Stage . Finally, you will choose who will be the 2022 World Champion .
Change
The Coin generates a random selection for each use by the player; If you haven't missed a stage but still want to use it, you will now have to leave the fate of the choices to Coin.
If players flip the Coin to make a choice, they cannot change it later. However, no points will be deducted for points thus earned by Coin.
Scoring
♦ Crystal Globe points: Scoring for Crystal Globe predictions will be made after the Worlds 2022 Finals . All points earned for correct picks will be on a different leaderboard than traditional “Who Takes” points.
♦ Pre-Qualification Stage points: Correct guesses for the Pre-Qualification stage receive 5 points for each prize.
♦ Group Stage points: 2 points for each correctly selected team to advance to the quarterfinals; If you put them in the correct order, you will earn an additional 3 points for each team. Each correct pick for the 3rd and 4th place earns you 2 points. If you guessed the whole group correctly, you will earn an additional 2 points for the group, totaling 16 points. The highest score you can get at this stage.
♦ Qualifying Stage points: During the quarterfinals, each correct pick earns 5 points. Each correct choice during the semi-finals earns 10 points. And successfully picking the LoL Worlds 2022 Final matchup earns you a massive 20 points.
Players will be able to win beautiful rewards for their participation and performance in the Who Takes Worlds 2022 and Crystal Globe events. Prizes will be distributed to the winners 1 week after the World Championship ends.

Those who accurately predict the Crystal Globe or traditional "Who Takes" selections and reach the highest Who Receives score will receive uniquely beautiful prizes. This means that you make correct guesses on each selection for both the Group Stage and the Elimination Stage and earn the maximum amount of points available. In this case, you will win a vault containing all 6 eternal skins:
To earn these rewards, your League of Legends account must be at least level 20. Also, players who make the Top 5000 in Who Takes or Crystal Globe predictions will receive the League of Legends 2022 World Championship Azir skin.
