League of Legends 12.2 Early Patch Notes

League of Legends 12.2 patch notes coming soon. LoL Season 12 hit a blast, with more than a dozen champions receiving buffs, nerfs, and changes, and an entirely new character making their debut. Developers Tahm are reworking Kench and Janna, empowering notorious wind brothers Yasuo and Yone. It also adds a brand new one to its champion roster; Zaun's Spark Zeri.

Immortal Shield's nerfs in LoL patch 12.1 have been tougher than Riot expected, and now Yasuo and Yone will get their much-needed buffs in patch 12.2 .

" We're buffing the Windbrothers because they've been heavily damaged by the Shieldbow changes and each has dropped to a win rate of about 47.5%, lower than intended and other champions tied to Shieldbow. "

Riot is also bringing a bunch of new champion skins. Akshan and Janna get the Crystal Rose skins, while Elise gets the Faded Rose costume. There's plenty of Porcelain and Fireworks skins for other champions as well. You can review all of this in the notes below.

LoL 12.2 Early Patch Notes

Thanks to Phlox, a designer on the Summoner's Rift team, we were finally able to take a deeper look at the changes coming in patch 12.2. In his post on Twitter, Phlox briefly summarizes what to expect from the LoL 12.2 patch notes .

Empowered Champions

• Nocturne
  - Health per level increased from 85 to 95
  - Q attack damage ratio increased from 75% to 85%

• Volibear
  - Attack damage per level increased from 3 to 3.5
  - E ability cooldown reduced from 15 seconds to 13 seconds

• Yasuo
  - Q attack damage ratio increased from 100% to 105%

• Yone
  - Q attack damage ratio increased from 100% to 105%

• Veigar
  - Q ability cooldown reduced from 7/6.5/6/5.5/5 seconds to 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 seconds
  - Stacks from large monsters and minions are reduced from 2 to 3 upgraded

• Tristana
  - Base HP increased to 600 and HP regen changed from 3.75 to 4

• Senna
  - (Q ability) New! This ability now slows enemies by [20%(+6%/100AP)(+10%/100BAD)] for 2 seconds

• Samira
  - R damage per bullet increased from [0/10/20 (+50% AD)] to [5/15/25 (50% AD)]

Weakened Champions

• Shen
  - Increased Q damage reduced from [5/5.5/6/6.5/7] of the target's max HP to [4/4.5/5/5.5/6] of the target's max HP

• Talon
  - W bonus monster damage reduced from 130% to 105%

• Qiyana
  - Health regen reduced from 7.5 to 6
  - Q Elemental Wrath's turf duration reduced from 3.5 seconds to 3 seconds

• Lulu
  - W ability cooldown increased from 16/15/14/13/12 seconds to 17/16/15/14/13 seconds

• Zed
  - R base damage reduced from 100% AD to 65% AD

♦ Tahm Kench

Tongue Wound (Q):

• Slow effect increased from 40% to 50%

Like Belt (E):

• Damage to gray health changed to [15/25/35/45/55, then increased to 45/50/55/60/65% if there are two or more enemy champions appearing nearby] [from 45/] % 50/55/60/65]
• Gray changed from health to [45-100%, this scales between levels 1-18] instead of [30-100%, scales between levels 1-18]

Raw (R):

• Allied shield changed from [400/500/600 (+100% AP)] to [500/700/900 (+150% AP)]

Statistics:

• Janna's movement speed increased from 315 to 330
• Attack damage increased from [46 + 1.5 per level] to [52 + 3] per level
• Attack range reduced from 550 to 500

Tailwind (Passive):

• New! Ability effect changed from [8% movement speed] to [8% movement speed gained when moving towards allied champions]
• Removed! Bonus magic damage based on movement speed

Howling Whirlwind (Q):

• Mana cost reduced from [60-140] to [60-100]
• Minimum range increased from 1000 to 1100
• Max range increased from 1750 to 1760
• Travel time reduced from 1.5 to 1.25

Breeze (W):

• Ability range changed from [550 end-to-end] to [650, center to center]
• Slow duration increased from 2 to 3
• Ability cooldown increased to 12 seconds instead of [8-6 seconds].
• Damage dealt increased from [55-175] to [70-190]
• Passive movement speed increased from [6-10%] to [8-12%]

Eye of the Storm (E):

• Ability cooldown reduced from [16-12] to [15-9]
• Full power shield duration before decay increased from 0.75 seconds to 1.25 seconds
• Shield amount reduced from [80-220 (+70% AP)] to [80-200 (+65% AP)].
• Ability effect changed to ["Janna gains 20% heal and shield for 5 seconds when blocking an enemy champion's movement] [E cooldown reduced by 20% from CCing an enemy champion]

monsoon (R):

• The speed of the tick healing effect has been reduced from 0.5 seconds to 0.25 seconds.
