In the 12th season of LoL, the new currency, the Glorious Essence, will be with us. With the amount of content available for purchase in League of Legends constantly increasing, Riot Games is innovating the way the rarest cosmetics are offered to players. LoL game director Riot Bellissimoh announced during the 2022 season 's opening day livestream that there will be a new way to purchase Fabulous Skins . Many of these Legendary skins can only be obtained through Gems and Prestige Points, and both are planned to be replaced with a new currency, Magnificent Essence .

Gems and Prestige Points are two of the rarest items in League of Legends. Players can use these items to get unique skins that cannot be purchased directly from the store. However, starting the 2022 season , both of these items are being retired and replaced with a new rare currency called the Glorious Essence . BP will be obtained by the method by which Gems and Prestige Points are earned.
The Gems you already have will be converted to glorious essence by 1/10 after the update is breached, but all your Prestige Points will be destroyed. So spend it right away.
The existing Gem Store for players will be changed to the Magnificent Store . Players will be able to spend their radiant essence on various rare items and cosmetics, including previously released Prestige skins. The content of the shop will change regularly, and players will gain access to new items every month.

Legacy Prestige Series Costumes
Prestige skins for 2018 and 2019 are returning to the store. Remastered versions of these skins will be available for free to players who own the original versions. It will receive a lot of attention from Riot, including costumes, new sound effects, animations, and more.

Starting in Season 2022, each season will have a theme on which to develop skins. As the first glorious theme of the new season , the "Ash Knight" costumes will be introduced. These represent warriors who once had a glorious kingdom but eventually saw it shattered to destroy them.
No exact information has been shared when the LoL glorious core will be released, but it is quite possible that it will arrive in the next patch notes.
