Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be released for gamers in 2021, but developer Daedalic Entertainment has revealed more details about the game. The new news includes the iconic character, the game mechanics and the deep secrets of Middle-earth.
According to a profile in Edge Magazine , Daedalic will use his own design for Gollum's look and says the modeling was differentiated after Andy Serkis' portrayal in the Peter Jackson trilogies. The story, on the other hand, will take place years before the date in the Lord of the Rings novels, which means the game will feature new side characters like Thranduil , father of Brotherhood member Legolas .
Gollum is described as a stealth action game that lets you sneak into locations in Middle-earth, such as Barad-Dur, the dark castle in the heart of Mordor. Ringwraiths will stand out prominently, so you'll probably need to dodge them while chasing the ring. Art director Mathias Fischer explained that versions of the Daedalic were "less cool" than the movie depiction , but noted that it brought a new perspective to the creatures.
