League of Legends offers players a total of 165 different champions to choose from, and new characters continue to be added to the game every year. For 2023, Riot announced that four new champions would come to the game, and three of them met with the players. The first is the Ixtali sorcerer Milio: Compassion of the Flame, the other is the Darkin assassin Naafiri: The Hundred-Jawned Hound, and the last one is the vampire champion Briar: Suppressed Hunger.
The final champion is Hwei , who will be released before the end of Season 13 . Hwei was announced as the "Ink Wizard" at the beginning of the year and hails from the Ionia region. This character has abilities that can bring pictures to life. Hwei will occupy the Mid Lane position and will be the second Mid Lane champion to be released this year. However, Riot has not yet shared detailed information about Hwei.

Although the Riot team has not yet provided more information about the upcoming Mid Lane player, we are excited about his signature. It looks like the developers are planning to give him a complex set of abilities. With the goal of him becoming an artist, his abilities may not be those of a typical champion . Considering Riot's philosophy and history of creating new characters, Hwei is expected to offer a new and interesting approach to the way you play the game.
Hwei's inspiration is based on an emotional yet brave character who wants to show the world her talent with magnificent colors. He has the desire to show beauty to the world, following in the footsteps of previous masters, but at the same time he has the courage to share his own artistic vision, not shying away from an artistic challenge.
As for community thoughts, many players think it would be great to add an Invoker-style character to the game, with Hwei's skill set inspired by other games like Dota 2.
Others are drawn to the idea that the champion must draw a pattern or shape in order to use the ability. In addition to spicing up the game, this mechanic can present a new, complex and challenging idea if implemented correctly. All in all, Riot Games seems to be working on another great champion and we are waiting for more information about the champion so we can get to know this artist better and finally meet him in the valley.
The new LoL character Hwei may appear on PBE servers on November 21, 2023 with the 13.24 patch notes. While there isn't much information about this new addition for the game,we do know that he will be a Mid Lane player with the skills of an artist.
