PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds continues to grow. It left Dota 2 - and everything else on Steam - in the dust for gamers, and on October 11, it became the first game to play with 2 million concurrent players on the platform.
Steam's stats page highlights the number of online players in the game at any given time and its daily peak. Since leaving Dota 2 behind in August , PUBG has started to break the all-time Steam record for concurrent players. 2 million seemed likely recently, and now that record stands at 2,016,498 - you can probably assume it won't last long. The figure increased several times during this story that was just written. SteamDBAccording to unofficial figures of PUBG, there are approximately 15.6 million copies in sales.
Despite being an Early Access game , PUBG has enjoyed unprecedented success since its launch earlier this year. The full version will be available later this year and will be released as an Xbox One version. We may also see PUBG finally on PS4, although no official announcement has been made about it yet. Microsoft has described the game as a "console launch exclusive", hinting that it might eventually come to other platforms. Perhaps in light of the game's popularity on PC, rumor has it that Microsoft is working to give PUBG the right to use it on Xbox One .
