#1 Size
The size of Erangel and Miramar is 8x8 km in the game. Thus, maps are absolute in the same size. However, most of the Erangel map is covered under water and the land percentage is 51.47%. Miramar, on the other hand, has a submerged percentage of 80.59%. Therefore, Miramar provides more surfaces for players to play.
#2 Transportation
Transportation is a very important factor in every battle royale game. Vehicles can be used to cross the danger zone or travel to safer areas of the map. Erangel spawns 633 active vehicles per match, compared to 452 in Miramar.
Quality loot means every player has the weapon they want as quickly as possible. Miramar, however, tops those benchmarks with 43,343 loot spawns and 7,929 military weapon spawns. Erangel has only 24,058 loot spawns with 4,689 military weapon spawns. All in all, Miramar seems like a better map to play on, but of course it all still comes down to a player's personal preference.
