Few Valorant agents alone can effectively hold a bomb site. These agents are called Valorant Scout Agents . In such a scenario, a Scout agent's responsibility is to prevent opponents from entering the area while his team is backing up. In some cases, they may also need to gain information and locate enemies. While all three such agents in Valorant have basically the same task, their kits are unique. Despite the recent weakening of Sentinels, most teams, even pros, still have at least one Sentinel in their team composition. The question is, which Valorant Scout Agent is the best: Cypher, Sage or Killjoy?
Despite Valorant 's relatively recent release, Sage has seen a number of buffs and diminutions in its kit. In her current form, She seems to be the least favored of the three Watchers, but that doesn't mean she's bad. Sage's Barrier Orb and Slowing Orb ability still serve players as among the best abilities to slow down an aggressive pressure. However, his ability to gain knowledge is weak compared to Cypher or Killjoy. Sage's kit is less effective at defending his team's territory than the other two agents. He is also the only agent who can heal Sage's teammates. However, ValorantAfter weakening in patch 1.07, he can only heal allies for up to 60 health points. Self-healing after degeneration now takes 10 seconds to fully take effect. After Patch 1.14, Sage's Barrier Orb cannot be deployed before the start of the round, but it no longer decays over time. It still expires, but fully maintains its health until it is destroyed or expires. Despite his flaws, Sage still holds his place as a Sentinel. Unlike Cypher and Killjoy, his kit can even serve his teammates after he dies, and can heal himself or a teammate every 45 seconds. Sage's ultimate can drastically change the course of a round by bringing an ally back after they die.
Cypher 's ValorantThe skill kit in ' allows him to place traps, a cyber cage, and a camera. Before the start of the round, it can be seriously effective to prepare for the attack of the enemy team. With the option to purchase two Booby Traps and two Cyber Cages, Cypher can visually block any entrance to an area. He can be unpredictable and undetectable by enemies, changing the positions of his equipment every turn. Unless Cypher dies, the Booby Trap remains active. If placed at the right height, they can be unavoidable and provide him with information about the enemy's whereabouts. On the other hand, he can block the enemy territory using Cyber Cage. Pairing these two is difficult for enemies to counter. It's also important to note that Cypher's entire team draws on his own intelligence. His ability to stall and gain knowledge makes him a great Watcher. If you're a good Cypher player,Dealing with you in a Valorant match will likely be frustrating for opposing players. His ultimate ability, Neuron Thief, reveals the location of each enemy, powerfully influencing his team's next move against opponents.
In Valorant , Killjoy is the only Sentinel agent who can deal damage with his abilities. It is the latest agent added to the game and therefore the changes made to its kit are very effective in patches. Killjoy's Turret also deals some damage when spotting enemies. Alarmbot makes the opponent more vulnerable to damage. Finally, it can be said that Nanoswarm acts as a bomb. Unlike a typical grenade, Killjoy can deploy his Nanoswarm before the round starts if he wants to. While Cypher is better at spotting enemies, Killjoy is ultimately Valorant with his damage-dealing ability. He reigns as a Watcher. The Nanoswarm has a lot of ammo capacity and this ability is pretty hard to avoid. While his turret didn't do a huge amount of damage, they proved incredibly deadly in economy and pistol rounds. It can fog or flash your turret. After recent nerfs, his Turret needs to be nearby to remain active, and his kit is disabled on death. Killjoy's best ability is his ultimate, Lockdown, which is exceptional at recapturing defensive areas and then stalling enemies during the attack. Once the lockdown begins, Killjoy and his teammates must prepare to enter an area or drive out enemies.
Every Sentinel in Valorant has a variety of playstyles. On certain maps and in certain situations, one Sentinel may be more successful than others. Players should keep this in mind before entering the agent selection screen. They should also remember that using certain Sentinels places high expectations on their teammates. Users should be aware that choosing one of these Sentinel agents will require realm defense and survival alone.
