Several long-awaited changes have been officially announced for Valorant's Pearl map . These changeswill be added to the game's live servers with the upcoming 6.11 patch . Although the latest update 6.10 usually includes visual changes related to the UI and fonts, Riot Games seems to have hidden the big changes for this season with the upcoming patch. Given that the current state of the map has been criticized by many competitive players, fansare delighted to see the official Pearl changes.
Riot Games has announced that all upcoming changes will only be featured on Pearl map's B-Site. Since the bomb site is quite difficult to defend and reclaim, the Valorant developers took additional steps to make the site a little more suitable for defenders.

The Valorant 6.11 patch notes will bring the changes that fans need the most, as stated in the title. The Pearl map ranks second, along with many other maps that have received minor reworks over the past few months. The underwater map occupies a tough spot between competitive and professional gameplay.
While many teams prefer Pearl for its unique meta, ranked players often complain about the restrictive nature of the map. Considering that Valorant has competitive gameplay across seven maps, a rework for the Pearl map can be expected soon.
However, Pearl is still one of the regular competitive maps in Valorant. The upcoming changes aim to give players a better experience for zone B. We have compiled the old and new versions of the changes for you.
B Ramp
The small ramp behind the box covers has been replaced with a single box. Also, the container itself is much shorter, as attackers will need to be more careful with their cover during post-plant defense.
B Display
B screen now has two extra boxes. Defenders can now use this point to their advantage. However, this point can be pre-fired.
B Hall
The lounge section has seen a major overhaul. Players will have a little more space to the right of the corridors, making it the perfect hideout or cover in gunfights. Retake may be easier due to the open space inside the hall.
B Tower
While not much has changed outside of the larger area, players will still have an advantage over attackers in gunfights.
