According to the information shared by the popular Valorant news source ValorLeaks, it was revealed that the developers are working on a new sniper weapon called "Outlaw". This will be a first in Valorant history, as the weapon collection has not changed since the game's launch.
Valorant, whose full version was released in 2020, offers players a total of 17 different weapons and a knife divided into 6 classes.

The leaked image also shows the cost of the weapon: 2400. This places the Outlaw somewhere between the 950-cost Marshal and the mighty 4700-cost Operator.
For now, the Marshal can kill enemies in two hits with full shield, while the Operator can kill the target in a single hit. Detailed information about the new weapon has not been leaked, but the damage value is expected to be balanced among existing snipers. This move to further diversify the gaming experience may increase Valorant's popularity.
Outlaw's release has not been officially confirmed by Riot Games. Therefore the date is still uncertain.
