After a board game, a card game, an RPG, and a fighting game, it's time for League of Legends to finally announce its own MOBA game. Riot Games has a pretty "huge" new game project they're working on. The developers have confirmed that the MMO will be set in the League of Legends Runeterra universe. In a recent tweet, Greg Street, Vice President of Riot Games , announced that his new project will be an MMO.
I have news!

My recent job at Riot has been to help develop the League universe, which we're going to need!
Because it is time. My new job is to kick off a big (some might say massive) game that many of you, and many Rioters, have been asking us to create.
PS We're hiring
It is an MMO

I really wanted to make an MMO, but it should meet all expectations and if we're going to do something like this we have to wait a certain amount of time, just so we can make the best of it. It takes a lot of labor to do this, it's very difficult to do and we will try to do it in the best way and it is not easy at all.
Riot Games has yet to give any details about the upcoming project. However, we may get more information about League of Legends ' new MMO game in 2021.
