Top 12 Teams at VCT Masters Tokyo | Fixture 2023

Following the success of VCT LOCK//IN in São Paulo, Riot Games is stepping up its preparations for VCT Masters Tokyo, the second international Valorant event of the 2023 season .

Twelve teams from four different regions will head to Tokyo for this exciting two-week competition before Valorant Champions in Los Angeles. Given the popularity of Valorant in Asia and the success of the Japanese Challengers League, there are high hopes for the Masters event.

VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo Fixtures

The Masters Tokyo adventure will take place from 11 to 25 June.

Twelve teams from EMEA, Americas, Pacific and China will participate in the tournament, which will feature a group stage leading to the double elimination group. It's a format that will be welcomed by fans and gamers alike following criticism of VCT LOCK//IN's single elimination format .

Format

VCT Masters Tokyo will feature a 12-team double elimination group and two representatives from China. The best teams from America, Pacific, EMEA and China will gather in Japan for the 2nd international event of the year.

• Group Stage: 11 - 14 June 2023
  - Two double elimination format (GSL) groups
  - 8 Low Ranking teams
  - Each group has 4 teams
  - All matches Bo3
  - Top 2 teams from each group advance to the Playoffs

• Playoffs: 16 - 25 June 2023
  - Double Elimination bracket
  - 8 teams, 4 High Seeds and 4 Qualified teams
  - All matches (except Bottom Bracket Final and Grand Final) are Bo3
  - Sub-Final and Grand Final Bo5

• The top three EMEA teams will qualify for Champions
• The worst ranked EMEA team will qualify for the EMEA final Chance Qualifiers

In VCT Masters 2023 Tokyo, 3 teams from the Americas League, 4 teams from the EMEA League, 3 teams from the Pacific League and 2 teams from China will face each other. 5 teams from Pacific and China have already been selected. The remaining 7 teams from NA and EMEA will be announced after the league finals.
