In the past weeks, if we need to specify the exact date, the 2.05 patch was brought to Valorant on March 16 . Major Changes in Valorant 2.06 Patch
With Valorant's 2.06 patch , significant balance changes have been made to some agents. Viper
Venom (Passive)- Enemies passing through Viper's Venom Cloud, Venom Veil, or Viper's Lair will instantly inflict at least 50 decay. The decay rate will increase with the duration of exposure to the poison.
- Decay rate decreased over time while inside Venom Cloud: 15 >>> 10 Decreased time that other agents must wait to regenerate after exiting Viper's Venom Cloud: 2.5 sec. >>> 1.5 sec.
Poison Cloud (Q)- It can now be redeployed as soon as it is picked up, but will gain a temporary stack instead of having a permanent stack.
- If the Viper dies while Poison Cloud is active, it will remain on the map for another two seconds or until the Viper runs out of fuel.
- Increased the range from which the ground bomb can be picked up: 200 >>> 400
Venom Curtain (E)- If the Viper dies while Venom Curtain is active, it will remain on the map for two more seconds before deactivating.
- The full blinding distance from the wall has been increased to be more in line with the full blinding distance effective from the edges of the fogs.
Acid Pool (C)- Equip time decreased: 1.1 sec. >>> 0.8 sec.
Yoru
Blind Spot (Q)- Blinding ability activation time decreased: 0.8 sec. >>> 0.6 sec.
- Blinding effect duration increased: 1.1s. >>> 1.5 sec.
Catkapi (E)- The Lockout ability will no longer be refreshed upon killing someone; instead it will refresh every 35 seconds.
- Crackdoor orb uptime increased: 20 sec. >>> 30 sec.
- Decreased visibility range of the crackpot sphere: 7 m >>> 4 m
- Added visuals showing the visibility range of the moving orb.
Interdimensional Transition (X)- Decreased ult points required: 7 >>> 6 Yoru can now re-activate Crashgate during Interdimensional Transition.
Killjoy
Nanosort (C)- Killjoy can now recover his ability stack by retrieving Nanoswarm grenades he has planted during the acquisition phase.
♦ Fixed Bugs- Fixed a bug where Raze dispatched Bombot in the Defenders area, causing Bombot to explode upon hitting a Spike.
- Fixed an undesirable delay when the Viper disabled Venom Orb and Venom Curtain.
- Fixed a bug where the sound the Yoru player heard during the Crackdown would sometimes be heard twice when passing through the teleporter.
- Fixed a bug where Astra would not place a star when trying to place another star near an existing one, appearing to drop it.
- Fixed Astra's star targeting inconsistently working on stairs and ramps.
- Fixed a bug where the agent played by players would not be removed from the 'capable' list when detained.
- Fixed a bug where Cypher's Hidden Camera would break Sage's wall when placed near Sage's Barrier Orb.
- Fixed a bug that allowed Omen to be able to target the map using Astra's tools while tracking Astra after death.
- Fixed a bug that caused Reyna and Yoru to take decay damage while transparent.
