Sixteen of the best Valorant teams from around the world gathered in Istanbul, Turkey to compete for the title of VCT 2022 World Champion . Participating teams will compete in various stages of the tournament as Riot Games seeks to crown the next Valorant Champions after the Grand Final match on September 18.
Valorant is currently hosting the last major international VCT event of the year. On the fourth day of the tournament, the second match will be between the winners of VCT Masters: Copenhagen, FunPlus Phoenix and multiple LAN participants KRU Esports. The opening match of Group C will feature the three best (Bo3) games where the winning team will advance towards the other groups in the tournament.
The mentioned teams are expected to give their best today as it is a safe path to the Playoffs. The loser will have to participate in a decision match against the winner of the Group D qualifier to secure a spot in the Playoff stage.

Both XSET and XERXIA are among the weaker ones in Valorant Champions 2022 . Although both organizations qualify for the tournament as one of the best in their regions, their performance on the LAN can be quite unexpected.
Neither team has made any changes in their roster since the start of the season. Both have enough tier 1 experience to confidently take down the best teams in the world. However, one thing that can set them apart is their experience at international LAN events.

Second match FunPlus Phoenix vs. It became KRU Esports. The opportunity to watch the expected XSET welcome arose when the win went to FunPlus Phoenix with a 2-0 win. KRU Esports will be relegated to the lower round to face XERXIA.
FunPlus Phoenix represents Valorant's European region. They are among the biggest competitors to set foot in Istanbul. Their reputation is well known for their strong performance during Copenhagen. VCT: took first place in Copenhagen, beating Paper Rex in a best-of-five score of 3:2. By collecting all the necessary points, they easily qualified to participate in Istanbul.
On the other hand, KRU Esports is the only participant in Istanbul to attend more than five international VCT events. Despite their stage experience, they haven't been able to get a winning trophy after all this time. However, they performed quite well in South Asia: Last Chance Qualifiers and finished first, beating Furia with a score of 3:0 in the best-of-five matches. After the win, they took their place for VCT 2022 Istanbul .

Valorant Champions 2022 Group Stage Day 4 came with the unstoppable strength of Korea, with DRX taking the 3rd ticket to the Playoffs with a score of 2-0. One of the most exciting match of the day was between 100 Thieves and DRX as the winning team would go straight to the Playoffs.
Noted for their outstanding performance in the EMEA region Final Chance Qualifiers, 100 Thieves created a stir after Fnatic's win. However, they took a 2-0 loss against Korea's best team DRX. As a result, DRX advanced to the Playoff round for the competition.
