Riot Games has made a lot of promises that in 2022 there will be many more agent changes, social features, and better communication with the player base, sothat seems to be exactly what the Valorant Chapter 4 Part 2 update is about. Valorant dev team leader Anna 'SuperCakes' Donlon confirmed in her recently published dev diary that Part 2 will not have a new map or agent, but will instead focus on other aspects of the game. This may be disappointing for some players, but there will still be a few exciting updates.
“ Every product team has a roadmap filled with great content and features that will really push Valorant for years to come. Dreams like ours should be built on a super strong foundation, and that will be the general theme of Part 2. To strengthen this foundation. We will dedicate this Section to the general health of our game. There will be no new agents or new maps in Part 2. ”
Donlon also gave more information about what players can expect from the upcoming update; “ There will be lots of updates targeting agent balancing, updates to support good player behavior, a few tweaks to existing maps, and an even better ranked experience. ”

Chapter 4 Part 2 will focus on improving Valorant's "general health". Players can expect agent balance changes , adjustments to existing maps, and updates to encourage good player behavior. Ranked playlist will also receive improvements to make it a better experience.
The long-planned Yoru rework will be coming to the game in the Part 2 update. It was originally scheduled to arrive in Part 1 but the design team chose to give themselves some time and now comes the Yoru rework with all the changes .
There's obviously a power imbalance in Valorant, so we expect more agent reworks to come in the future.
Valorant will have the first community Battle Pass filled with cosmetics designed by the more artistic part of the community. We don't yet know the official cost, when it will be released and how it will relate to the classic Battle Pass , but we do know that its content will be exclusive to each region and make it even more exciting. It will likely only contain sprays and stickers.
More Anti-Toxic Changes and Better Communication
Riot did a great job with smurf accounts and AFK players last year. Of course these problems still exist but they have decreased significantly. Game developers are also trying to regulate the atmosphere during the game to make Valorant healthier. However, the upcoming new episode update will include more social features, Vanguard updates, and features rewarding good player behavior.
According to Anna Donlon, Riot also wants to improve communication between game designers and players.
“ Let's chat more. Every change in the healing game is for you, for those who play it, and you can help us make these improvements happen. Frequent conversations about possible changes to our developers, our AMAs, anything we can think of and show you along the way. We will open even more lines of communication, let you in some more; You'll see our mess, it's okay. ”
If all goes as planned, the Chapter 4 Part 2 update will be added to Valorant on Tuesday, March 1, with all the features mentioned. We'll probably get a new weapon skin on the same day, as is often the case with updates that bring new parts to the game . The new Battle Pass is also expected to give players about 1000 VP.
