Valorant community believes Riot should offer Ranked Rewards like in League of Legends
The community believes that Valorant could benefit from a Ranked Rewards System like in League of Legends The community believes the rewards can range from costumes to unique name tags.

Fans of Riot Games ' first-person shooter Valorant think the game deserves a Ranked Rewards system like in League of Legends . Competitive mode was added in patch 1.02 on June 24, shortly after Valorant's official release on June 2nd. However, even five months after Valorant's launch, Riot Games has yet to announce any tier-based rewards based on player ratings.

With League of Legends having a rank-based reward system for all ranks, the community had expected Riot Games to bring the same system for Valorant. However, Riot Games has not provided any official updates on the matter.

Let's dive into the details of the Ranked Rewards system and also take a look at how it can be implemented in Valorant.

Riot Games' Ranked Rewards system in Valorant

Redditor u/ lmaojunkratbroke recently posted a pretty detailed recommendation on a possible Ranked Rewards system on Valorant .

Much like League of Legends ' rank reward system, which ranges from Iron to Challenger's top tier,

The redditor's post on the r/ Valorant subreddit has a detailed structure of the possible rewards for each season. Per U/lmaojunkratbroke's suggestion, the Ranked Reward System in Valorant could be something like this,

Unfortunately for those stuck in the bottom three tiers of Valorant , the rewards aren't looking pretty. A special name tag called " Unlucky " has been proposed as part of a reward package that includes a rank-based player card and weapon talisman .

Gold

An additional 15  Radianite Points for Valorant players who manage to finish a season ranked in Gold are accompanied by a selection of themed nametags, player cards and weapon enchantment packs.

Platinum

Apart from anything a Gold tier player will receive as a reward in Valorant, Platinum tier reward packs can include a weapon skin along with a possible weapon upgrade.

Diamond

Apart from an increase in the number of skin upgrades available in the reward package for Diamond tier Valorant players, a total of 30 Radianite Points can be awarded.

Negative

Alongside a total of three skin upgrades, Immortal-level players can be rewarded with a total of 60 Radianite Points for their skills.

Radiant

According to the Reddit thread, the highest ranked players on Valorant may be presented with a unique nametag to show their rank. This level also offers a total of 120 Radianite Points, along with a unique Radiant- themed skin pack that will only be awarded to players who rank up in Valorant .

Given that Valorant has not yet completed its first anniversary as an official game, it may be a while before Riot Games introduces a Ranked Rewards system in the fast-growing FPS game.
