"Valorant" observer tool changes
The last Valorant update wasn't a big one, but what they add will have a big impact.

Valorant patch 1.12 is smaller than most patches, but provides an adequate update for in-game observers. Observers are a vital part of Valorant esports. The observing function allows these individuals to seamlessly monitor all the action during a Valorant competitive match. Recently, Riot Games implemented some heavy duty changes to give watchers more freedom. This latest patch includes them and makes the observer's job much easier and much more important.

Valorant observer tool changes

"This patch features several bug fixes along with observer and social panel updates. The in-game display of Section Tier Badges will remain pending until the issue causing the performance issues is resolved. Let's be forewarned. It's likely to skip the next patch and get things back on track like December 8th. we will be."

Excerpted directly from the Valorant patch notes:

Observers no longer hear the beans.
Observers will now appear as "in game" in the social panel.

Observers can now see and write to the /all channel in private games.

Added a new interface for spectators during character selection in custom games.

Fixed an issue with the spectators UI overlapping when the player is setting up or destroying the Spike.

Fixed a rare bug that caused the scout camera transition visuals to get stuck when switching between players.
