Riot surprised us with the new Valorant Oni weapon skin pack .
Most Valorant fans think it will take at least months before the developers come up with something as creative and unique as the Elderflame (dragon fire) collection.
But two weeks later, as you can see, we have an incredible skin pack. With the 1.04 patch , the Valorant client introduced the Oni skin series. The skin series is currently not available for purchase, but can be viewed easily from the shop tab.
Oni skin pack will only be available for Phantom, Guardian, Bucky, Shorty and Melee weapon.
While the skins may look diabolical on their own, the VFX upgrades can take the aesthetics up a notch. A smoky green glow stems from the Ogre's carved shape, which creates sudden bursts of light each time the weapon is loaded.
However, perhaps the best part of the collection is the "finisher". The final round kill animation is amazing and awesome. The enemy that dies is immediately disguised and becomes a spirit. As his pieces soar through the air, the chains will pull him down to bind him, and his spirit will be trapped.
This isn't the first time Valorant developers are releasing the new skin pack to fans. Floxay , one of Valorant's most prolific data miners , tweeted about the leaks a few hours before they were revealed. Along with the weapons, he also found that the collection will include a spray, a comrade in arms, and a player card.
Patch 1.04 brought not only the Oni collection, but also the Sakura skin set, which is the exact opposite of the previous one in terms of themes and aesthetics.
Sakura sets represent calm and serenity, cherry blossom petals are drawn on the weapon. However, we don't know more about the Sakura set, except that Vandal, Classic, Sheriff, Ares, and Stinger are included in the Valorant set .
