We continue the VALORANT weapon guide with one of the game's most popular weapons, the Phantom . If you play the game at long range but want any sniper to have a lot of flexibility, rifles are for you. Of the 17 weapons in VALORANT , only 4 are rifles. Both of them work fully automatically during firing. Here'severything you need to know about the Phantom !
The weapon, worth 2,900 credits, ranks alongside the Vandal as the most expensive assault rifle. The Phantom is a primary weapon that players invest in hoping to carry them through several rounds in a row. That's why we advise players to buy this weapon when you have enough credits. So even if you lose that round, you can get a lower quality weapon for the next round.

♦ Damage
Although the Phantom is expensive, we can say that it does justice when it comes to damage. The rifle can instantly kill enemies up to 15 meters away with a headshot. Moreover, hitting any other part of the body besides a headshot can even take down an opponent with a shield. If you don't trust your headshots and focus directly on the opponent's body, it will take four or five bullets to take down an enemy. In the image below, you can find the damage rates of the Phantom .
♦ Kickback
Phantom loses some of its power at mid and long range. One of the details to keep in mind is to strategize in combat with your opponent. If you aim with this weapon and perform a headshot, your opponent will lose their balance for a while.
Unfortunately the Phantom suffers from quite a bit of recoil. You may notice this when you first try shooting from more than 15 meters away. After the first three rounds, it will start to ricochet slightly upwards, as any rifle in VALORANT does. When the upward rebound reaches its highest point, the gun starts to twitch to the left and right. It is impossible to predict the timing of the bounce or twitch. Sometimes it can fire multiple rounds at the outermost point, while other times it may fire just one and then scatter in the other direction.
