First released in June 2020 , Valorant originally featured four maps: Haven, Bind, Split, and Ascent. The developers later added four new maps to the game : Icebox, Breeze, Fracture and Pearl. Riot Games usually releases a new map in every episode except Episode 4. In Episode 5, they met the Pearl map.
Honestly, Pearl and Fracture aren't that popular compared to previous maps released in Valorant. Riot Games did its best to make these two maps viable, but the community wants more than that. So it may be time for a new map to appear.

Trusted data miner ValorLeaks recently shared information about a new map codenamed “Jam”. However, no information was shared about the code name and its connection to the map below. However, in the latest map, Pearl, was known as Pit, and in the newest agent Harbor, as Mage. Therefore, let's not expect these code names to always be one-to-one.

While the codename doesn't reveal any information about the location or origin of the upcoming map, some other leaks from ValorLeaks may give ussome additional information about the new Valorant map . A small audio track with the code "Play_Jam_StoneDoor_Break.uasset" was found in the latest game files. It is among the leaks that the sound of stone door breaking is heard when the details of the sound are taken into consideration. So Valorant may have doors made of stone, resembling Sage's Wall, which can be broken by gunfire.

A Harbor voicemail was also found in the patch 5.09 files. In this voicemail, Harbor talks about "The City of Flowers on Omega Earth." He also says that this city is in his hometown.

There is no exact date yet when the new Valorant map will arrive . However, judging by all these leaks, it seems that it will not take 2 Episodes for Riot Games to release the new map this time. So, if our speculation is correct, expect Valorant map 9 to be released in episode 6 .
