VCT Champions 2022 Istanbul: Group A Predictions

VCT Champions will kick off with days before 2022 and this time the biggest Valorant event of 2022 will be held in front of a live audience in Istanbul , Turkey. Fans will witness with great excitement that their favorite team takes the title of   World Champion from August 31 to September 18

Last year's Valorant World Champion Acend took home $1,000,000. While we haven't received any information about this year's prize pool , we anticipate a similar amount.

Sixteen teams, each more successful than each other, will compete at VCT Champions 2022 in Istanbul to claim the title of the best Valorant team in the world.

Valorant Champions Istanbul 2022: Group A Overview

VCT 2022's Group A is made up of some of the most recognizable teams in the game. The group includes Paper Rex from the APAC region , EDward Gaming from the East Asia region , Leviatán from the LATAM region and Team Liquid from the EMEA region.

• Fans have seen some of the best performances by Paper Rex and Team Liquid. As the two big contenders for this year's trophy, both teams are likely to make it to the playoffs.
• After winning the VCT 2022: APAC Stage 2 Challengers flawlessly against XERXIA, Paper Rex is not a team to be taken lightly. One of the best teams in their region, Paper Rex have proven not to be confused at times.
• Team Liquid are struggling this year, but with their recent playthroughs, the team looks poised to crush their opponents and bring home the championship.
• EDward Gaming and the Leviatán team are the weaker ones in this group. Despite this, fans have observed extraordinary plays from them before.
• VCT 2022 against KRU: After winning the LATAM Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs, the Leviatán team made their mark on the stage and is ready for this year's Champions Tour .
• EDward Gaming's latest LCQ performance also knocked fans out of their seats. Their performance as a team is what sets them apart from other teams in their region.

One-to-one results:

The first match of VCT Champions 2022 will be played between Paper Rex and EDward Gaming. Neither team has played against each other before and there is no doubt that we will see a fierce battle as both are among the best teams in their respective regions. However, EDward Gaming's recent LCQ performance proves that they won't let Paper Rex take it easy.

Team Liquid vs. Leviatán will also be a first. Neither team has fought each other before. Fans from different regions can almost certainly see the unfamiliar games of both teams and a very balanced match.

Fans can watch their favorite teams compete live on YouTube and Twitch via Valorant's official streamers. All matches will be played as Bo3, except for the Sub-Finals and Grand Finals, which will be the best of five (Bo5).
