Darkmoon Faire is a game that starts on the first Sunday of every month and lasts for a week. Players can take on special missions, play games, earn rewards and unlock achievements. Women of Warcraft has a lot to see and do at the time of writing this guide to get an introduction to the flavors of Darkmoon Faire .
How can I go to there?
Interest is held on Darkmoon Island and is relatively easy to access. A portal to the island can be found in the Goldshire section of Elwynn Forest just outside Thunderbluff in Mulgore and south of Stormwind City.
If you have never been to Darkmoon Island before, you will need to talk to the nearest Darkmoon Faire Mystic Mage to obtain the Darkmoon Faire quest.
Completing this quest grants you a 
Darkmoon Adventurer's Guide (required for collecting Artifacts) and 5 
Darkmoon Prize Tickets .
You can also find Darkmoon Faire Mystic Mages in most major cities, which will teleport towards the island portal for a low cost of 50 silver .

In addition, there are artifact items that offer quests that you can accept and seek out Faire using a Darkmoon Adventurer's Guide. There are nine works in total. Each can be collected while doing something special (like playing a dungeon or playing on a battlefield).
Each artifact quest can be unlocked in Darkmoon Faire and redeemed for rewards of 15 Darkmoon Prize Tickets, in addition to gaining 250 reputations with Darkmoon Faire. Artifacts can be traded between players and sold in the Auction House. You can only change them once, according to the Darkmoon Faire event. This means you will give all 9 artifacts during one Darkmoon Faire and then at the next Darkmoon Faire.

Quests, achievements, pet battles and games! Blizzard heard you like games, they put games in the game so you can start playing while you play. The Faire is home to some crafty carnivals, many of which can be found in their designated booths. You'll be ready to play the Faire games, be sure to visit the token suppliers and stock up on game tokens!
What Games Can I Play?
The Darkmoon Cannon
NPC: Maxima Blastenheimer
Objective: Think "bad guy". This playground has 9 barrels, each barrel will spawn a "gollum" and you have to shoot it with your bag, but hit it wisely! The barrels will also spawn "babies" and you will have a short surprise when you hit them. Sometimes, barrels will spawn a Hogger gnoll, which gives you 3 points, whereas basic gnolls give one. You must collect 30 points in 60 seconds.
Shooting Gallery

Objective: Prove how great a shot you are by smashing specific targets with Rinling's pellet rifle. You must earn 25 points for hitting marked targets over a 60 second period.
Points Don't sweat if you don't get 25 points in the first place!

Tonk Commander
NPC: Finlay Coolshot
Objective: Transform into Darkmoon tonka and roam the game course. Destroy 30 targets in 60 seconds and try not to get hit by enemy tonks and minizeps! (Carries points)
Darkmoon Pet Battle

Objective: Defeat Jeremy in pet battle and get 19 gold and Darkmoon Pet Gear
Firebird's Challenge
NPC: Ziggie Sparks
Objective: Get a bird's eye view of the island and collect 15 bells. Each ring you hit gives you 10 more seconds of air time, if you don't touch another ring after 10 seconds, you will lose your wings and swim to the ground again. (Carries points)
Ring Toss
NPC: Jessica Rogers
Objective: Three rings flash on Debenko in Dark Seashore
The Real Race
NPC: Malle Earnhard
Objective: Go through the starting banner, hit the designated posts, and return to the starting banner. Your time is important, so hurry!
The Real Big Race
NPC: Pattie Earnhard
Objective: Go through the starting banner, hit the designated posts and return to the starting banner . Again, your time is important! Successful completion of each game will grant you a Darkmoon Game reward, which, when opened, will give you a collectible and redeeable Darkmoon Reward ticket for all kinds of gifts!
